Will information on inside elevators be covered?

We will briefly touch base on inside elevators; however, it’s not the main subject of the course.

This Industrial Hoist Operator course and content that is provided over the 3 days, typically covers the information necessary for many students to successfully write and pass the “inside elevator” certification examination through Technical Safety B.C.

How much is the Technical Safety BC Exam?

Approximately $150.

Upon successful completion of this training program, students will then qualify to write their final certification exam through Technical Safety B.C.

Who books the exam at Technical Safety BC?

Each student is responsible for booking their own examination after passing this course.

They can apply through this link.

What happens if I fail?

Students are allowed to retake this course up to two times.

The first retake will cost an additional $300, and the second retake is free.

If a student does not pass after the second retake, they will be deemed unfit to be a Hoist Operator.

Is the school transit accessible?

Yes, our school runs along Fraser Highway located in Langley, which has bus stops all along it.
